Mindfulness Meditation is an approach to training the mind, similar to the way fitness is an approach to training the body.  The practice of meditation awakens us from our conditioned and habitual thinking, which often keeps us from our inner wisdom, or natural presence. Through practice we begin to understand that this presence is a recognition of the here and now. We learn to live life in the moment. We wake up to presence, or loving awareness, that is always, and already, here.

Studies suggest that regular meditation practice produces measurable changes in the brain, from increased gray matter to enhanced connectivity between brain regions. Meditation can also help relieve anxiety and depression symptoms, as well as improve attention, concentration, and overall psychological well-being.

Beginner Mindfulness Meditation Group Class


Wednesdays, September 22nd - October 20th, 2021

Morning Sessions: 8:30am-9:45am

In this class, we will take a step by step approach to learning mindfulness meditation. There will be instruction, guided practice, and time for Q&A. Appropriate for brand new beginners, as well as practicers who could benefit from a refresher course.
